I have now solved the problem I was trying to overcome in a different way, so it is now not such a pressing issue, but it could be a useful feature for me (and others) if it worked. None of it works and any header or footer is applied to all pages including the first.
Xvfb jenkins chrome headless for mac free. click the Header/Footer section > right-click the page number on that newly created section page > select Format Page Numbers > and then.
On my desktop its simple the ng e2e command to run the tests. I try to make this work in an angular 2 project created with the angular cli and jenkins on centOS 7. Comments (1 “Protractor with Jenkins and Headless Chrome (Xvfb) Setup”) valentin Apat 8:01 pm. Since chrome doesn't have headless mode, I need to emulate a display using xvfb.
I am trying to run my protractor program from Jenkins, but since Jenkins doesn't have a display, I need to run chrome in headless mode. Even entering the data in the header box on the second page in page layout view ends with the same result. I've tried checking the different first page box before entering the header, after I've entered the header, in normal page view and in page layout view. The header always appears on all pages irrespective of the order I enter the data. I must be doing something wrong as this does not work on my version of Excel 2016 365 (v. Hi Mike Again, many thanks for your reply. I am still hoping that there is some way of doing it in Mac, otherwise why did Microsoft include the check box in page setup > headers and footers? Regards John.
You can select a different first page in Excel for Windows 2016 (there are a couple of YouTube videos showing it, but they show a different ribbon configuration from the Mac version. This blank section will now appear as an empty thumbnail at the end of the documents thumbnail gallery. Now, Insert menu : Section (not section break). Start with View menu : Show Page Thumbnails. I suspect that the information you gave about selecting Different First Page option may also relate to Word as it doesn't seem to do anything in my version (15.31) of Excel. In order to have a header only on the first page of the document, that first page must also be its own section. My question relates to Excel whereas the article mentioned in your reply relates to Word. After using Word 2008 for Mac for a couple of years, the program has suddenly told itself to show a header on the first page of all documents.
